Binary palindrome dates

How is 11/11/2011 binary or palindromic?
Next binary date is 1/1/10000. Next palindromic date is 21/02/2012 or 02/02/2020, depending on which part of the world you are from.
There haven't been a binary, palindromic date since 11/11/1111. Next time is 10/10/10101.
Unless you actually write the date in binary. Then every day is binary. Next palindromic year is 11111011111 which is 2015. The next palindromic date in binary, using five digits for month and date, is 00111/01111/11111011100 = 07/15/2012 or 10000/01000/1010001000001 = 16/08/5185, again depending on which part of the world you're from.
Please correct me, if I'm wrong. I don't want to miss an excuse to party!

Movember

IPv6 Certification Badge for svindler

Rejected haiku submission

Today I got a nice, although negative, answer about my submitted haiku:

Dear Søren Hansen
We cannot publish your work
Although we liked it.

2011/1/26 Søren Hansen:
Dear Editor-in-Chief
I would like you to consider this Haiku for publication in your next
edition of Journal of Universal Rejection:

Will this be published?
Universal Rejection
I know the answer

In the non-existent hope of a positive answer,
